Several Firefly members participated in the Workshop on Energy Poverty, organized in the context of the EFPORE-SE project in Athens, Greece, on the 3rd-4th of December 2025.

Pedro Palma (PhD, Nova, Portugal) presented the results of the microdata analysis for energy poverty assessment, as well as the developments of the EPAH and LOCATEE projects.

Participating online, Paul Yohana (PhD. Cand., Nova, Portugal) presented his ongoing PhD work: "Multidimensional Energy Poverty in Nigeria: Pathways to Climate Resilience and Sustainable Development".

Evandro Ferreira. (PhD. Cand., Nova, Portugal) also presented his recent research work: "Smart Meters and Surveys: A Combined Framework for Measuring and Addressing Energy Poverty".

Frederico Marques (MSc student, NOVA, Portugal) presented his master thesis "Evolution of energy poverty in Portugal: Historical analysis of the Energy Poverty Vulnerability Index”

The authors had the opportunity to discuss their work with an engaged audience of researchers and students.
